On the morning of March 30, 2024, at the invitation of Mr. Gan Ping Sieu, Professor Long Xiaoning, Director of the Intellectual Property and Innovation Research Centre (IPIRC), Xiamen University Malaysia, and her delegation visited the well-known Malaysian GAN&ZUL Law Office. Mr. Gan Ping Sieu, a renowned legal expert in Malaysia and the founding senior partner of GAN&ZUL Law Office, warmly welcomed the faculty and students from the Centre. During the exchange, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including the progress of the IP graduate program development at Xiamen University Malaysia, the state of R&D in Malaysia, as well as talent cultivation in the field of intellectual property in Malaysia. They also vigorously explored potential collaboration possibilities for the future. The visit has further strengthened the partnership between IPIRC and the Malaysian legal community, especially in the realm of intellectual property protection. The exchange of ideas and insights should help contribute to further promote intellectual property protection and innovation research in the region.
