On the afternoon of February 29, 2024, delegations led by Dr. Yang Zhengyu from the Intellectual Property and Innovation Research Center of Xiamen University Malaysia visited NBS (NBS intellectual SDN. BHD), one of the renowned intellectual property agencies in Malaysia. Ms. Ivy Teo, the Business Development Manager of NBS Malaysia, and Dr. Marcus Chee, a Malaysian Patent Agent, warmly received the delegation. Dr. Yang Zhengyu provided a detailed introduction to the various achievements and the current work focus of the IPIRC. Ms. Teo and Dr. Chee described the first-class IP services of NBS and expressed their willingness to collaborate with the Research Center. Subsequently, the parties engaged in an in-depth discussion on IP protection issues faced by Chinese enterprises in Malaysia, with both sides looking forward to future cooperation in IP projects and lecture series.
